In 2021, VEOLIA reached a historic agreement to merge Suez Water Technologies into its group, further solidifying its position as a dominant force in the industry.

Water & Process Technologies was a global leader in water treatment, wastewater management, and process solutions. It was a division of General Electric (GE), founded in 1892 in the United States, with over 130 years of experience in energy, aerospace, and healthcare sectors. In 2016, the company reported USD 2.1 billion in revenue and employed 7,500 people worldwide. In 2017, Suez completed the acquisition of GE Water & Process Technologies, further expanding its capabilities in water treatment and environmental services.
